- PiPit is a Safari extension. When you enable it for a website, it checks for playing HTML video elements so it can request Picture in Picture.
- PiPit reads the current website host only to support the "Never on this website" setting.
- PiPit does not collect your browsing history, page content, video titles, account information, or personal documents.
Data Storage
- PiPit stores settings on your device in Safari extension storage.
- Stored settings can include whether PiPit is enabled, disabled website hosts, minimum video size, return-on-focus behavior, app/window switch behavior, scroll behavior, and muted-video behavior.
- PiPit does not run its own analytics, ad tracking, or marketing SDKs.
- PiPit does not operate a server for your browsing or playback data.
App Store and Purchases
- Downloads and purchases, if any, are processed by Apple through the App Store.
- Apple may provide standard App Store purchase, crash, and diagnostic information according to your Apple settings and Apple's policies.
Data Sharing
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not share personal data with third-party advertisers.
- We do not use PiPit to track you across websites.
Your Choices
- You can disable PiPit from Safari Settings at any time.
- You can remove a website from PiP automation with "Never on this website."
- You can delete PiPit from your Mac to remove the app and extension.
